Weekend getaway, Kuala Lumpur

Left after work, going by overnight train probably is the WAY to travel. At at RM40 (if set off from Johor Bahru), a clean comfortable bunk bed, leaving at 2330 hr and reach Kuala Lumpur AFTER sunrise, what's more can you ask for??

Ticketing is easy if booked via KTMB's e-ticket. Print the receipt, arrive at station, inspectors and conductor will punch and sign the paper you printed. Good for lazy me.
