Still managed to Angkor Ruins alone eventhough the travel agency gave us a "jumbo jet". Missed you that didn't come along. Yea too bad I went Siem Reap only, if go Phnon Penh let me noe k?
Pledged myself not to visit "ruins" while backpacking in Roma last year. Damn me visiting this sort of "thingz" again. 2 full days simply not enough, the site is too huge to be covered. Though repeatative, ruins are admirable and worh exploring.
Rain made the weather cool, lucky all my clothes are quick dry.. Hee. Stayed at Earthwalkers, certainly met my lodging expectations: quiet + garden.
On moto for the first day to target the popular and important places. 2nd day on bicycle for more remote places in big circuit.. Prefer bicycle cos of quiet moment for myself and freedom to stop, capture and visit. Flat land and good road (who says its rocky) made the 40km journey enjoyable.
"Go Han" & "Mitzu".. Shit.. Am I look like Japanese??? Surprising that the locals are fluent in foreign languages and work as guides. Shame on myself that let chances of learning slip away.
Tourist.. yea it's everywhere.. though rainy season I could have avoided lots of tour groups.. but the actual situation clearly told me it's the otherwise.
Saw colleague in Process Department on while flying back home. :-( Found out he's on 1 week yet I was on 3 days.. Had been working like hell over past 3 weeks and summon helps from him but he was away.. on good holidays. Damn you.
Definitely will re-visit again in near future.. to complete the dream journey from indo-china to china.. hee.
See photo at webshots and enjoy!
